Thirteen Ferry Operators now have 2-REG operating approvals
Moving transition aircraft on the Guernsey Aircraft Registry (2-REG) has long been common practise for leasing companies, who appreciate the high levels of safety and compliance demanded by the Guernsey authority, combined with the swift response times to applications for aircraft registration, Certificates of Airworthiness and operational approvals. 2-REG has been working with a number of the Ferry Operators, who work with the leasing companies, to review their procedures and ensure full compliance with Guernsey regulations. This ensures that approved operators have a fully compliant Safety Management System and robust procedures for the types of operation included in their scope of activity, whether it be ferry flights, demonstration flights or maintenance check flights. 2-REG Ferry Operator POCs (Private Operator Certificates / Section 77 Approvals), have now been issued to thirteen Ferry Operators who have demonstrated the required high levels of safety and compliance. In order to ensure that transitioning 2-REG aircraft are operated to these high standards, leasing companies are now required to use only the services of 2-REG approved Ferry Operators. Contact details for these Ferry Operators can be found by following this link to ‘Service Providers’ on the 2-REG website.
